Make sure you've checked in to a place and that someone else is also checked in to the same venue. The lobby will appear empty if no one else is present.
Location isn't working
Check that location access is enabled for Knock while using the app. Go to Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services → Knock → set to "While Using the App."
Messages or knocks are delayed
A weak connection can affect real-time updates. Try reopening the app or switching from Wi-Fi to cellular (or vice versa).
Is Knock anonymous?
Yes. No name, email, or phone number is required. You choose a nickname. Revealing anything more — your name, photo, or contact — is always optional and requires mutual consent from both users.
How do I delete my account?
Email mra454@gmail.com and include your anonymous user ID (found in app settings). We'll delete your account and data promptly.
How do I report a user or inappropriate content?
Email mra454@gmail.com with as much detail as possible. We take safety seriously and review all reports.
What data does Knock collect?
See our Privacy Policy for full details. Short version: anonymous account, optional nickname and hints, temporary venue presence, and knock/message records. No real names, no phone numbers, no background location tracking.
